This Community of Practice on Human-Wildlife Conflict Mitigation (CoP-HWC Mitigation) is a multi-disciplinary and multi-stakeholder platform facilitating dialogue and experience sharing among people who share a common concern, a set of problems, and an interest in addressing human-wildlife conflict in India by taking a holistic and harmonious co-existence approach.

The Community has several fora and working groups for exchange among respective members, along with an Open Discussion Forum on HWC mitigation, where everyone can participate.

This Community is committed to achieving the goals set out in the National Human-Wildlife Conflict Mitigation Strategy and Action Plan (HWC-NAP).
